What’s the best part about working in the kitchen and bath remodeling industry, according to you?

I would say getting to know the clients and watching how their personality is shown by their design choices/priorities of the project. It’s a really unusual but cool way to get to know people.

What inspired you to pursue a career in kitchen and bath remodeling?

My dad and both my grandpas. They were all very skilled and I knew I wanted to follow in their footsteps.

What are a few of your favorite things?

I love the upside down dawn dish soap. Yellow beanies. Cher. I’m pretty practical.

What’s the most daring thing you’ve ever done?

I jumped off a 60 foot cliff into a quarry. It ended badly.

Share a funny or memorable incident that happened during one of your renovation projects.

While taking up my old hardwood that couldn’t be salvaged, I found two tax dollar coins from 1923, apparently only the wealthy folks had them back then. Pretty neat!

Do you have family or pets?

I have a lovely wife, 3 dogs, and 2 cats.

What do you do for fun in your spare time?

Sports, all the sports. Volleyball is my favorite by far.

What’s your favorite tradition or holiday and why?

On Christmas Eve, my grandmother in law always spends the night with us and we make supper and put on our matching Christmas socks and drive through Candy Cane Lane.

How long have you been in the kitchen and bath industry?

Going on 7 years.

What’s one interesting fact about kitchen and bath remodeling that most people might not know?

You should always open your cabinet doors that are above your oven or microwave when you use them to preserve the finish.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

You’re always half way there.
