Warm Contrast
Design and Thoughts
This bathroom went from outdated to fabulous. We kept a similar footprint but exchanged the large corner tub for a freestanding air tub and moved the wet wall on the shower to extend it a bit and open it up.
Materials Used
Shiloh Cabinetry - in Maple
Cambria Notting Hill Countertops
Crossville Tile Flooring - Familiar Territory in Mahogany
Shower Walls - Onyx Solid Surface tile in subway tile pattern with detail strip and crown molding
Bain Ultra Essencia Thermomasseur air tub
Special Features
The high contrast of the darker flooring and cabinets with the light quartz tops, tub and toilet gives the room a great visual impact at a first glance. The large air tub is a great way to relax at the end of a busy day. The shower, while similar to the size it was to begin with, is much lighter and open so it seems a lot larger.
