Timeless, classic elegance while still being a comfortable place for a family with 4 children. Client expressed a need for a larger kitchen and eat-in space for this family of 6. We removed the dividing wall between the kitchen and dining room wall to give them one large area to gather. They have ample seating at the island with bonus built-in seating at the window seat. High end appliances lend beautiful function, including the dual dishwashers. Entertaining is now a breeze with the large island and separate beverage center area. A rear room that was an extension of the kitchen was closed off and converted to a laundry/mud room. French doors were added for access straight to the back yard.

Materials Used

Cabinets - Custom Wood Products in Maple painted Soft White with Cinnamon accents.

Countertops - White Isle Granite

Flooring - 3/4 Solid Hardwood Jobsite Stained

Backsplash - Delray field tile with Oceanside Devotion Jali blend range accent

Appliances - Thermador range, refrigerator, double wall ovens, and Emerald dishwashers. Zephyr Beverage center and hood insert. U-Line Ice Maker and Sharp Countertop Microwave.

Special Features

I love the instant gain in functional space by combining the previous small kitchen and separate dining room. Light is able to travel from the front to rear windows.

Love the tie in of the backsplash accent with the lighting.

Love the warmth of the hardwood with the Walnut accents and classic soft white cabinetry.

First floor laundry and mudroom is accessible and yet tucked away at rear of home.
